Opportunity Description

Title of Research Opportunity: Energy Efficient Electronics and MEMS Postdoctoral Fellowship The Army Research Laboratory's Microsystem Power Components Team is seeking a motivated candidate to work on novel energy and sensor devices. The project targets zero-power-consuming RF sensors and piezoelectric transformers needed miniature power supply applications. The position involves designing, testing, and modeling varication of Micro Electro Mechanical (MEMS) devices fabricated in ARL's nanofabrication facility. Other topics explored include MEMS actuators. Candidate will join a dynamic group of ~6-7 researchers with backgrounds in electronics, mechanical devices, and materials engineering.
